Jorge Bustillos
Guide/Coordinator in Ecuador
Ecuadorian guide combining love for cycling, nature, and culture to lead tours in Cotopaxi and other biodiverse regions.
Fun Fact
Started biking at age two—now guides eco-adventures in Ecuador’s Andes.
Jorge was born in The Andes, and in the company of his dad and his brother he discovered his passion for outdoor activities and nature. In his household, they often hosted exchange students from other countries, and Jorge studied English to be able to communicate with his ‘siblings’ from places like Germany, Switzerland, and the United States.
At just two years old he learned how to ride a bike, and he learned how to mountain climb with his brother in the highlands. As a young man, he decided to combine his passions and study Ecological Conservation and Tourism, becoming a nationally certified guide in Ecuador.
He shares his passion for cycling (and for the flora and fauna of Ecuador’s protected areas!) with visitors, working in a natural environment. His office is often the base of Cotopaxi National Park! He leads all sorts of tours- from biking, to downhill, to trekking and cultural routes – while proudly showcasing Ecuador’s biodiversity. In his free time he likes to listen to music, hang out with friends, and be with family.
